7-19-10  A-Ball Phillies vs. SS Giants Championship Game: 

Clevehill Phillies win the Inter-league championship in a great game by both teams. Hats off to the Southside Giants who battled all game and put forth a great effort. Brett Kochanski and Jarred Dietl provided some great pitching. Paul Woodward, Bernard Dent, and Josh Fronczak made some great plays defensively to end several Southside rallies. The Clevehill offense was led by Paul Woodward with 5 RBI's and Brett Kochanski's late home run sealed the victory 12 - 7!

Undefeated!

 

 Cleve Hill won the Cheektowaga 12u softball interleague championship game on Monday, July 19, finishing their season with a perfect 15-0 record.  The Lady Eagles beat South Side #2 by a score of 12-1.  Nicole Woodward pitched the six-inning game for CH, allowing only one run on four hits and striking out 12 out of the 22 batters faced in the game.  Cleve Hill continued their hot hitting, with Taylor Kochanski leading the team with three hits.  Tina DiBlasio had two hits, including a double.  Also contributing with two hits each were Ashley Pomarzynski, Devyn Stahl and Alea Dolan. 

 

Cleve Hill came up with big defensive plays all season long behind the strong pitching of Nicole Woodward, Megan McIntosh and Amanda Carl. CH recorded four double plays and catchers Taylor Kochanski and Madi Fermo caught three runners stealing.  Taylor Kochanski led all hitting and got the Hill’s only home run of the year.  Cleve Hill outscored their opponents 193 – 84 in their 15 games played. 

 

Congratulations to all the Lady Eagles – Brooke Bielanin, Amanda Carl, Alexa Catalino, Tina DiBlasio, Alea Dolan, Madi Fermo, Taylor Kochanski, Ashley McCabe, Megan McIntosh, Mary Kate Mullen, Katie Netti, Ashley Pomarzynski, Devyn Stahl, Teairra Starks and Nicole Woodward – for an incredible season!!!

Cleveland Hill won the Cheektowaga 8u softball interleague championship game on Friday, July 16, capping off a great season with a record of 13-2  They won the Championship against NCAA by the score of 20-11.

 

The culmination of a season of softball showed during the playoffs.  Everyone in the lineup had multiple hits and played great in the field. 

 

Congratulations to all the 8u girls - Mora Sullivan, Sophia Alfonso, Alison McIntosh, Alyssa Bell, Damiah Brown, Kathleen Kobel, Sabrina Schlicht, Viola Victor, Sophie Milch, Gabriella Robinson, Paige Au and Hannah Kolacz.  Also, thanks to Coach's Eric and Tammy Bell.
